“Season” is the word often used to describe stage of your life. What season are you in personally or professionally?
You would be in different seasons as no one on this earth is stuck in one season. The difference between seasons may look vastly large for some. Or hardly noticeable for a visitor. But you would notice.
Your body also goes through seasons. Obvious seasons are growth in young age, pregnancy, menopause, or perhaps illness.Â
You may say aging. Aging is a very long process and commonly discussed in context of decline in health.
But some thrives instead.
Often we wish for the health we once had in our youth. It’s very natural to want to turn back time when we didn’t even know what health was because we had a good one and never had to think about it.Â
How do we get it back? Typical action is to jump right in the same activities we used to do back then. Maybe if we got good at it again, our body will get back in the same condition. Have you tried that? How has that method work for you?
Season has changed. Just as people buy/move to a different resident when they grow their family by adding members (human or pets). We buy furniture and appliances with our needs in mind. Maybe child safety. Maybe time saving. Maybe money saving. Maybe saving the planet. Which one of these choices at a furniture store best serve us for this season of our lives?
For your body, what does matter to you the most? How do you want to furnish your body? Is it for better health? Lowered Blood pressure? Improved iron level in your body? Simply want to sleep better? Go on RickSteve’s tour in Europe? Maybe it’s a need. Need to take care if your elderly mother? Need to keep up with your growing family? Need to keep up with your demanding job or growing business? Need to manage pain just to get through your daily life?
Your season today is different from the past. So what season are you in?Â
Once you know that, then give your body the activities that support you during that season. Â
Essentrics program is very much “meet you where you are”. It helps those who is managing energy level just to get through a day. It helps during recovery after PT. It helps strengthen bones. It helps people enjoy summer activities. It helps athletes prevent injuries and to become a part of 2020 Olympics team then win a medal (this happened!). The program can serve every season.
